Greater San Antonio 2011 Senior Women's Player of the Year

SAWGA member Deby Meeks had a good year in 2011.  In fact, so good that she was named the 2011 Greater San Antonio Senior Women's Player of the year.

Deby won on her own merit, earning 12,500 points participating in San Antonio City Amateur Tournaments, among which she won the 2011 Greater San Antonio Senior Women's Championship Tournament at Pecan Valley in June, 2011.

Although not able to play in the final tournament of the year, the invitational Tournament of Champions, she still had amassed enough points to be the best Senior Women's Player of the Year for San Antonio.

Following play of the Tournament of Champions, played at Brackenridge Park on December 17, 2011, there was a presentation ceremony where the Players of the Year were announced.  Deby had to work that day but was later able to receive her beautiful silver trophy with the following inscription:
