SAWGA GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

May 24, 2010

The meeting was called to order by President Jeanne Parsley.  Board members present were: Bay Ponseigo, Cindy Tuerk, Gayle Fisk, Jeanne Parsley, Mary Lucas, Nancy White, Peggy Baker, PJ Wright and Syd Muenster.  Board members absent were: Betty Lieb, Irene White, Karen Antis, Linda Stahl and Terry Lambert.

A motion was made and seconded to dispense with the reading of the previous general meeting minutes. Motion carried by acclamation.

Syd Muenster, membership chair, said we now have 102 members.

Jeanne Parsley recognized the board members present.

Gayle Fisk thanked all who had helped her during her injury timeout. Well done all who volunteered.

The membership approved the slate of officers for 2010-2011 as presented on the online ballot.  Jeanne Parsley read the results of the election for new officers for the coming year.  They are as follows:

• Syd Muenster, President

• Peggy Baker, 1st Vice President

• Jo Ann Miller, 2nd Vice President

• Irene White, Secretary

• Nancy White, Treasurer

When the new members were announced, Jeanne passed the SAWGA gavel to Syd.

The members of SAWGA who were present were invited to pick a gift from our inventory of gifts.  This was appreciated by all.

Nancy White passed out the gift certificates to the ladies who had won various prizes during the year.

PJ Wright announced the winners of for today’s tournament.

The meeting was adjourned.
